Deneb Algedi is one of the 15 Behenian Stars and is located in the tail of the constellation Capricornus. According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Saturn and Jupiter. I have named this release The Stronghold, which is evocative of the regal and protective, albeit cold, nature of this star.
Agrippa in his Three Books of Occult Philosophy says of Deneb Algedi:
Under the Tail of Capricorn, they made an image of a stag, male goat, or an angry man: these give prosperity and increase wealth.
and also:
The fifteenth is called the Tail of Capricorn. It has among stones chalcedony, among plants marjoram, mugwort, catnip, and that which is called calamint (similar to fleabane), as well as mandrake root.
According to the Liber Hermetis:
Moon conjunct the tail of Capricorn rising, gives favor in lawsuits, improves the home in which it is kept, keeps it secure, and increases all manner of riches.
Bernadette Brady also says of the star in Brady’s Book of Fixed Stars:
This is the star of a person who is a benefic ruler, one who is trying to use wisdom and knowledge to protect and help the people around them.
These Deneb Algedi Talismans were created on January 13, 2024. During the elected window Deneb Algedi was rising with the Moon applying to conjoin. The Moon was unafflicted, waxing, fast, and dignified by face. Saturn, who is L1, is in the 1st and dignified by face. The Part of Fortune is also in the 1st, fortunating the house. For the design of these talismans I chose to use deer antler tips as the base due to the star’s association with the image of a stag according to Agrippa as well as the Speculum Lapidum of Camillo Leonardi. During the election I inscribed chalcedony stones with the sigil of Deneb Algedi and then attached them to the antler tips using epoxy clay mixed with catnip herb. They were then suffimigated and ritually enspirited using invocations and prayers. They were later plated with pure copper with a patina of sulphur applied to give them a gunmetal finish.
10 talismans were made. The talismans are approximately 3″ in length and each stone and antler are unique. Â You will receive one of the talismans pictured. Each talisman comes on a 28″ black genuine deerskin lace cord and includes a small printed image of the devotional artwork I created (pictured above) on card stock.

These talismans were created and enspirited with the intention of increasing wealth and providing protection to the wearer and the location in which they are kept. They may be worn on the body, carried, or hung, and have a grounding and protective energy.
