The devil pod, also known as a bat nut, is the fruit of the water caltrop plant. It draws it’s name from it’s spiky devil or bat-like appearance and is used as a curio for warding off all types of evil influence. These amulets are cast from a real devil pod in solid sterling silver. The devil pod is approximately 1″ tall.
